GTO Automotive is an independent UK automotive type approval consultancy. Our consultancy services include delivering whole vehicle type approval, system approval, component approval, conformity of production and additional technical services to vehicle manufacturers, dealers, equipment suppliers/installers and associated organisations.
The Managing Director, Harj Sahota, has over 20 years experience in the automotive sector.
Our team has extensive experience working within large automotive multinationals, working with a diverse range of smaller niche vehicle manufacturers and vehicle dealers and interacting with governmental agencies, including the VCA, DVSA and DVLA.
We regularly work with Vehicle Manufacturers, Vehicle Dealers and other companies who are new to the Type Approval and COP regime. The objective is always to achieve a sympathetic transition to the latest legislative requirements as quickly as possible and at the minimum cost to the customer. We achieve this by using our extensive type approval and COP knowledge, skills and experience to provide an individually customer tailored service. The consultancy services can comprise of any or all of the following: personnel Type Approval and COP training, development and support; adapting, completing and submitting type approval and COP documentation; arranging and supporting the customer with witnessed type approval tests; arranging and supporting the customer with COP audits and also conducting all the discussions and meetings with the various governmental agencies.
